Overview: The Senior Technical Designer is a lead role in the garment fit and tailoring arena of the brand. Your technical expertise will be used in fitting base size models. You will also fit full size runs and be responsible for correcting the fit in multiple ways from Proto 1 all the way to PP (Pre-Production Fit.) Extensive experience in the fit room is a must. After fitting, draping, and tailoring Alo designs on our standard models, the data derived from the fittings will be used to effectively communicate to the technical garment changes/ updates to various vendors we collaborate with globally. Responsibilities: Comprehends Drape and Performance of Fabric Approves Final Fit and Grading for Production Comprehends Trim Performance, Sizes in Ligne, and Sourcing Assembles Notes with Garment Adjustments Can Create Comments in Adobe Illustrator Can Implement Comments in PLM Lead Fittings and Fit Direction Lead Sewing Assembly Discussion for Garment Construction Attend Weekly Touch Base Meetings PLM Data Pulls Regarding Spec, Style History and Data Implementation For CA residents, Job Applicant Privacy Policy HERE .
