About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Magento Developer with 7–8 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining scalable e-commerce applications while ensuring high performance, security, and a seamless user experience.
The candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, Magento architecture, custom module development, third-party integrations, and e-commerce optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce websites and applications. Develop custom modules, extensions, themes, and storefront functionalities based on business requirements. Work extensively with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and Magento frameworks. Customize Magento core functionalities using recommended development practices. Integrate third-party services, including payment gateways, shipping providers, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and external APIs. Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs for system integrations. Optimize website performance, page loading speed, database queries, and overall scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and production incidents. Manage Magento upgrades, patches, security updates, and version migrations. Work with Composer, Git, and other development tools to manage dependencies and source code. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, project managers, and other developers. Conduct code reviews, write maintainable code, and follow coding standards and best practices. Support deployment activities and ensure smooth releases across development, staging, and production environments.
