Job Overview
Huge is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of digital products and software applications. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, an understanding of modern software architecture, and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
In this role, you will help translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions, improve application performance, and deliver reliable software experiences that meet client and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications and digital platforms. Translate product requirements and technical specifications into functional software. Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code. Build and integrate APIs, backend services, and database-driven functionality. Develop application features using appropriate front-end and back-end technologies. Collaborate with design, product, data, and engineering teams. Troubleshoot defects and improve application performance, reliability, and security. Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and deployment activities. Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, and software documentation. Apply software development best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering workflows. Support continuous improvement through testing, monitoring, and user feedback.
