Job Description:
Our work is looking for a Dashboard Developer to help us support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Dashboard Developer you will be trusted to work with meaningful data, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. In this role, a typical day will include:
Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists as well as managers to collect requirements, understand needs, and convert into visualizations Converting raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision making Maintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed, and train end users on how best to interact with them Performing quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy Presenting monthly visualizations at large meetings
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science at at least 2+ years of related experience Must have experience with Medicare/Medicaid programs Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Tableau (or similar dashboard platforms) Working Knowledge of SQL, understanding of data modeling, and experience working with large datasets Ability to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and to illustrate trends Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards Familiari …truncated… ith 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal busin…
