These worksites are part of the company's Boston campus. Travel: 5% travel per year (1% domestic and 4% international) Responsibilities: Apply expertise in embedded systems to optimize software delivery, automate infrastructure, and enhance system reliability. Work closely with embedded software teams and physicists to develop robust CI-CD pipelines, improve build automation, implement test automation and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure to deliver the operating system for QuEra’s QC. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github and custom-built automation harnesses for application and embedded software development; Automate build, test, and deploy processes for applications and embedded systems; Develop and manage firmware and software delivery pipelines, ensuring efficient releases; Optimize containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for embedded applications; Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools; Monitor system performance and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Influx, and Redis; Work with developers and hardware teams to integrate software updates including Talos, Flux, Helm, and K8S Pod Services. Requirements & Qualifications: Employer requires a Bachelor's degree in software engineering, software development or closely related field and at least seven (7) years of experience as a software developer.
