About the Role:-
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 5–8 years of
hands-on experience in backend application development. The ideal candidate
will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
architecture, along with experience building scalable, reliable, and maintainable
applications.
The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and
deliver high-quality software, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to
technical decisions and code quality.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following clean coding principles and established design patterns. Design and implement efficient database queries, data models, and persistence solutions. Write unit and integration tests and contribute to automated testing practices. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve application performance and reliability. Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions. Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment. Use Git and Maven for source control and build management. Work with Docker and Linux/Unix environments to support application development and deployment. Follow secure coding practices and contribute to technical documentation and engineering standards.
Must-Have Qualifications:-
5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. Strong knowledge of Java 17 or higher, or equivalent experience with the Java versions used in the existing project. Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture. Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, exception handling, and Java collections.
