In addition to driving hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development. Bevi is looking for a Director, Electrical & Firmware Engineering to lead the team that builds the electronics and firmware at the heart of every Bevi machine. From the boards that drive our pumps, valves, sensors and chillers, to the firmware and embedded Linux/Android platform that keep thousands of connected machines running reliably in the field, this team makes the hardware come alive. You will own and manage the electrical and firmware engineers who design, bring up, and sustain our products, and you'll be the person who makes sure the boards, the code, and the system architecture fit together as one platform across our current fleet and our next generation of machines. This is a technical and people leadership role in equal measure. You'll set the embedded architecture and engineering standards, and you'll build and lead a team that needs both a strong technical leader and a strong people manager. This role reports to the VP of Engineering and sits on the engineering leadership team. It will operate in close partnership with Mechanical, Software, Systems, Quality, Manufacturing, and our contract manufacturing and design partners.
