The Role Employee Experience Engineering (EXE) is part of Block's Corporate Engineering organization, responsible for building and operating the engineering platforms, services, and integrations that improve the employee experience. Our work supports the employee journey from hiring and onboarding through ongoing access to corporate services. We develop internal applications, automate employee workflows, and integrate enterprise systems to deliver seamless, reliable, and scalable experiences. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, building reliable systems, and developing thoughtful solutions that make employees' lives easier. You Will Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable internal applications, platforms, and backend services. Develop features and automated workflows that improve the employee experience across hiring, onboarding, and ongoing access to corporate services. Build and maintain APIs and integrations connecting internal platforms, enterprise applications, and third-party services. Own software solutions end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
