The Preconstruction Project Manage r works to bridge the gap between engineering design and construction within necessary timelines, established budgets and exceeding the expectations of our clients. This role involves extensive communication with the sales, engineering, suppliers, sub contractors, scheduling, safety and construction teams to develop plans, and mitigate risks against schedule, budget, safety and quality of the overall project. The Preconstruction Project Manager’s primary objective is to ensure construction projects are properly planned and coordinated from the early phases of design with a smooth transition into construction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Lead the preconstruction effort for assigned projects from concept through final proposal. Coordinate the internal teams that contribute, including design, estimating, safety, and equipment sales, so each deliverable is completed on time and fits the project goals. Own the integrated delivery plan, schedule, budget, and final proposal. Participate as a key contributor and knowledge base for the overall design constructability and sequencing plan Drive collaboration between various stakeholders Know Client Expectations and Manage Client Interface Lead planning efforts including strategy development, and execution with design, procurement and construction management teams to ensure efficient and timely flow of information Conduct constructability reviews during all phases of design to include the appropriate construction and trade resources for synchronized reviews.
