The Systems Engineer is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and infrastructure systems. The role provides technical support in planning, implementing, and sustaining operations, while supporting innovation through research and development. It ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, maintains key documentation, and communicates technical concepts and project status to stakeholders. Responsibilities Include: Engineer, integrate, and manage enterprise storage platforms, SAN infrastructure, backup systems, and supporting components in accordance with organizational requirements. Assess and report on data restoration and disaster recovery capabilities; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and efficiency. Administer enterprise backup solutions to ensure data integrity, availability, and alignment with organizational objectives. Evaluate, design, and implement file sharing solutions to meet validated customer and operational requirements. Perform advanced troubleshooting of storage environments; analyze deficiencies and provide technical recommendations for resolution. Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and operational checks on storage hardware and associated systems to sustain system reliability. Conduct storage utilization analysis and capacity planning; develop and maintain technical procedures and documentation supporting lifecycle management of storage technologies.
