The Job: Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, bring up, and validation Own projects, not skills -- this role is for a “full-stack” engineer with a focus on shipping products, not a specialist in any one area of electronics engineering Go beyond the board -- be responsible for the design of subsystems such as sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics that require tradeoffs between electrical and mechanical requirements Back up your design decisions with data gathered through simulations and experiments Hone your skills and grow: engineers at Formlabs have grown into deep technical experts, system architects, product technical leads, and team leaders / managers.
