We are hiring an SQA Analyst II on the Quality Assurance team at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee(https://himalayas.app/companies/bluecross-blueshield-of-tennessee)!
In this role, you will support quality assurance for business-critical provider portal and eligibility applications. You will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, identifying and managing defects, and validating application functionality across integrated systems. You will work closely with application teams and external partners while participating in Agile/Scrum delivery activities. This role provides a blend of functional testing and automation, with opportunities to work across UI, API, database, system integration, regression, and end-to-end testing while helping ensure accurate, high-quality production releases.
Ideal candidates for the role will bring:
Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases, performing functional testing, and identifying, documenting, and managing defects.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver or comparable automation tools such as Playwright, along with familiarity with Java and automation testing practices.
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write queries and validate data within databases.
API testing experience and familiarity with API automation tools such as Bruno, REST Assured, or similar technologies.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating effectively with application and technical teams.
The ability to balance hands-on functional testing with automation activities based on application and release needs.
Preferred qualifications:
Healthcare payer or healthcare application testing experience.
Experience testing provider, eligibility, or similarly integrated web-based applications.
Experience with system integration, regression automation, and end-to-end testing across upstream and downstream systems.
Familiarity with hybrid automation frameworks and UI, web, API, and database validation.
