The marine industry is going electric and Arc is building the platform that powers it Who we’re looking for As a leader of Hardware Engineering, you will own all physical engineering on our consumer vessels. That means overseeing mechanical, electrical, and test engineering teams. We're looking for someone fired up by the mission and ready to build. You'll thrive here if you move fast, take ownership, and care about the details. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters. What You'll Do Building and maintaining a strong R&D function across multiple engineering disciplines Working with electrical, mechanical, and test engineering teams to ensure designs are performant, simplified, and meeting program objectives Streamlining processes to create an R&D powerhouse that can quickly turn around new products Working closely with sales, service, production, product, and industrial design to advance our consumer engineering offerings Setting the long term vision for Arc’s small vessel design engineering team and guiding difficult, impactful decisions for our sub-1MW powertrain platforms Lead the core low voltage and high voltage powertrain platform and compute for o…
