About the role Skydio’s mission is to make the world safer and more efficient through autonomous drones. Public safety, critical infrastructure, and enterprise customers rely on Remote Flight Deck (RFD), Skydio’s browser-based piloting experience, to get eyes on the scene in seconds and coordinate a response. As a frontend intern on the RFD Platform team, you will help build that experience. RFD is the product the customer flies from, so the work starts in the interface and reaches into video, telemetry, and the services behind it when the feature calls for it. The RFD Platform team builds the browser platform every remote pilot uses: live video, telemetry, the map, and flight controls. As an intern, you will ship production features with engineers, designers, and product managers, and you will have room to follow a problem past the frontend when that is where it leads.
