Job Description
StarTex Software is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Developer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming fundamentals, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and maintainable software solutions.
In this role, you will contribute to application development, troubleshoot technical issues, improve existing functionality, and help deliver software that meets project requirements and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on technical specifications. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. Collaborate with team members to plan and implement software features. Troubleshoot bugs and resolve application performance issues. Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services as needed. Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards. Create and maintain technical documentation. Perform software testing and support quality assurance activities. Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C, JavaScript, or PHP. Understanding of databases, data structures, algorithms, and software development principles. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
