This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, backend engineering, and product development, and is ideal for someone who thrives on turning ideas into production-ready intelligent systems on the Microsoft stack.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and deliver AI-powered features based on functional and technical requirements provided by TPMs and Principal AI Engineers Develop end-to-end AI solutions, including backend services, APIs, and application-layer integrations, deployed on Azure App Service, Azure Functions, or AKS Integrate large language models (LLMs) into production systems via Azure OpenAI Service, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability Design, test, and optimize prompts to improve output quality and consistency, using Azure AI Studio for prompt experimentation and evaluation Collaborate with ML Engineers to embed models trained or fine-tuned on proprietary data — via Azure Machine Learning — into applications Participate in model evaluation and validation, ensuring outputs meet quality, accuracy, and performance benchmarks Support testing and deployment of AI features through CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Monitor AI feature performance in production using Azure Monitor and Application Insights Troubleshoot and refine AI behaviours in real-world production scenariosQualificationsStrong experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development (Python preferred) Hands-on experience working with large language models, particularl…Sign in to see the original postingBrowse more developer jobs on RoleBurst
