Job Description
Improving is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that address business needs and deliver reliable user experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong programming fundamentals, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
In this role, you will contribute to application development, software integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You will work with developers, consultants, and project stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions while following established engineering standards and development best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and components. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. Translate business and technical requirements into functional software features. Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services. Troubleshoot software defects and resolve application performance issues. Participate in code reviews and follow software development standards. Create unit tests and support integration and regression testing. Collaborate with developers, designers, consultants, and project stakeholders. Maintain technical documentation and communicate development progress. Identify opportunities to improve application security, scalability, and reliability. Support software deployments, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, C, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
