Job Description
Cybersoft Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet business and user requirements.
In this role, you will contribute to application development, system integration, software testing, and performance optimization. You will work with engineering colleagues and project stakeholders to translate technical requirements into practical implementations, resolve software issues, and maintain high standards for code quality, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and system components. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. Analyze technical requirements and implement appropriate software solutions. Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and application services. Troubleshoot software defects and resolve technical issues. Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering standards. Create unit tests and support integration and regression testing. Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders. Maintain technical documentation and support software releases. Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and security. Contribute to continuous improvement throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C, C++, or JavaScript. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles. Familiarity with databases, SQL, APIs, and version control systems such as Git.
