We are looking for an experienced IT Security Analyst with strong expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and security assessments.
🔹 Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT security governance, or risk management 5+ years applying NIST security frameworks, including NIST SP 800-53 3+ years performing security risk assessments, compliance reviews, GRC activities, and IT audit support Experience maintaining risk registers, documenting security findings, and tracking corrective actions Strong experience preparing security policies, procedures, assessment reports, and executive summaries Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills Archer GRC or similar GRC platforms Virginia information security standards and compliance requirements Third-party/vendor risk assessments and SOC report reviews CJIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS, FERPA, or FTI compliance Business Impact Analysis (BIA), data classification, and privacy reviews Security governance for AI and emerging technologies
📌 Important Requirements: Candidates should reside in Virginia or within reasonable travel distance of Richmond, VA. In-person interview is mandatory — no exceptions. The role is remote, with occasional onsite meetings as needed.
