About the Role
SaQus IT Solutions is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software systems. The ideal candidate has strong programming fundamentals, analytical thinking, and the ability to build scalable applications that address business and technical requirements.
In this role, you will contribute to software architecture, application development, system integrations, and performance improvements while collaborating with technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and system components. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. Analyze technical requirements and translate them into practical software solutions. Develop application features, services, and integrations using appropriate technologies. Troubleshoot software defects, investigate root causes, and implement fixes. Work with databases, APIs, and external services to support application functionality. Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering standards. Create and maintain automated tests to improve software reliability. Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders on project delivery. Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and development records. Support software deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and updates. Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and security.
Required Skills
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C, Python, or JavaScript. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling. Knowledge of REST APIs, software testing, debugging, and version control. Understanding of software development lifecycle practices.
