About the role As a Team Lead at Keepit, you’ll manage a team of 5–8 engineers, overseeing delivery, performance, and team growth while nurturing talent. In this role, you’ll be driving innovation, shaping architecture, and promoting engineering best practices across the team. You will: Operate with a high level of autonomy, driving the team roadmap and delivering value towards your product area. Drive technical excellence and ensure reliable delivery of the team, working closely together with the Product Manager. Lead technical discussions, guide engineering decisions, and support the team through code reviews and technical mentorship. Hands-on contributions to the codebase are welcome but not required. Align engineering priorities with product and business goals. Stay connected to the broader company strategy, bringing a "big picture" mindset to technical and cross-functional decisions. Coach engineers through regular feedback, goal-setting, and career development conversations. Help define individual growth paths, encouraging skill development through mentoring and learning opportunities. Build a supportive team culture, fostering psychological safety, inclusion and knowledge sharing. About you Must-haves: Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills. Proven experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, driving ownership and technical excellence. Ability to align technical direction with product and business goals, influencing architectural decisions across the team. Experience with at least one of the following programming languages or frameworks — C++, Common Lisp, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
