About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable backend systems and real-time communication applications.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WebRTC-based video calling software, Socket.IO/WebSockets, database management, cloud deployment, payment gateway integration, and third-party messaging services, including bulk SMS, OTP SMS, and WhatsApp Business API.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript. Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. Develop real-time communication features using WebRTC, Socket.IO, and WebSockets. Work on video calling software, including signaling servers, call management, and media session coordination. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models using MongoDB. Implement Redis for caching, session management, real-time state, and background job processing. Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployment on cloud platforms. Implement logging, monitoring, error tracking, debugging, and application performance optimization. Write unit tests, integration tests, and API tests to ensure application reliability. Integrate payment gateways, including payment processing, webhooks, transaction verification, and refund workflows. Integrate bulk SMS and OTP SMS gateways for authentication, notifications, and transactional messaging. Integrate WhatsApp Business API or approved WhatsApp messaging providers for automated notifications and communication.
