Job Description
Compiler is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software applications and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong programming fundamentals, experience with modern development tools, and the ability to solve complex technical problems through practical software engineering.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to build scalable applications, improve existing systems, and deliver high-quality software. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from technical planning and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. Analyze technical requirements and translate them into software solutions. Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and external services. Troubleshoot software defects and improve application performance. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones. Apply software security principles and established engineering standards. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning. Support application deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. Maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Experience in software engineering, application development, or a related technical role. Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Familiarity with APIs, databases, and software architecture. Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. Knowledge of debugging, automated testing, and software quality practices.
