Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and backend system architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable backend applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, experience with database optimization, and the ability to build secure, high-performance systems while collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineering team members.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js. Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices. Design, optimize, and maintain MongoDB databases, including schemas, indexes, and complex queries. Implement Redis for caching, session management, queues, and performance optimization. Develop secure authentication and authorization systems using JWT and OAuth 2.0. Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and response times. Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services. Implement proper error handling, logging, and monitoring. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions. Mentor junior developers and follow backend development best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience in backend development. Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including aggregation pipelines, indexing, and query optimization. Strong understanding of Redis…
