The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our client's Corporate Credits team. The role involves application development and maintenance, including designing, developing, testing, and implementing backend applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle technologies. The candidate will ensure code quality, application performance, and compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze business requirements, prepare technical specifications, and design, develop, test, and implement applications.
· Develop and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL.
· Perform application development and maintenance (ADM), unit testing, and contribute to regression testing.
· Ensure comprehensive unit test coverage using JUnit.
· Use Jenkins for DevOps activities and Maven for build management.
· Perform task estimation, planning, impact analysis, and proactive status reporting to management teams in Paris, India, and ISPL.
· Follow coding standards, development guidelines, architectural standards, and project quality processes.
· Conduct code reviews and maintain application quality.
· Work independently on assigned tasks and support developers and testers with technical queries.
