React Developer – Fintech for Not-for-Profits (Remote)
About FidTech FidTech Partners builds the fund administration platforms that large not-for-profits, including community foundations, federations and endowments, use to manage charitable funds and engage their donors. Our products are FoundationHub (fund administration for staff), DonorSphere (the donor portal) and GranteeSphere (the grantee portal).
The role We’re modernizing our platform by moving established Classic ASP screens to React, backed by a .NET API and SQL Server. As a React Developer, you’ll build and maintain the user interfaces our clients and their donors use every day. You’ll work closely with our development, QA and product teams, and your work will directly affect how charitable dollars are managed and granted.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain React components and pages across our applications. Convert existing Classic ASP screens to React, keeping business rules intact and improving usability. Integrate with REST APIs built in .NET, and work with backend developers on API contracts. Manage application state with Redux, or similar tools, in large, data-heavy applications. Build complex forms, data grids and workflow screens, including validation, sorting, filtering and Excel export. Write clean, testable code, and take part in code reviews. Work with QA to reproduce, diagnose and fix defects. Contribute to front-end standards, reusable components and documentation.
What you’ll bring
4+ years of professional experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript Solid experience with state management (Redux or similar), React hooks and component design React 18 with strict TypeScript as well as React.js, Vite, Redux Toolkit and RTK Query, Tailwind, Zod-validated forms, Storybook, Vitest and Playwright, on an ASP.NET Core 10 API experience will be helpful.
