Position Overview
Help build and maintain our e-commerce storefronts, internal business applications, and automated processes. Work on assigned projects with guidance from senior team members while learning our systems, tools, and codebase. Use modern AI tools to work more efficiently and help identify new opportunities to automate business processes. Share helpdesk and support responsibilities across the I.T. department.
Responsibilities
· Develop, test, and deploy assigned features and fixes on our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA) e-commerce storefronts.
· Build and maintain internal reports, intranet tools, and scheduled jobs using C, ASP.NET, and T-SQL.
· Write and update SQL queries, stored procedures, and data exports to support business reporting requests.
· Use AI coding assistants (such as Claude and ChatGPT) to speed up development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. Review AI-generated code for accuracy and security before it ships.
· Help build and maintain AI-assisted workflows and automations that reduce manual work across the business.
· Participate in grooming sessions and code reviews. Ask questions, learn the codebase, and apply feedback.
· Use Git and Azure DevOps for source control, pull requests, and work item tracking.
· Test changes across development and staging environments before release.
· Share helpdesk responsibilities, including troubleshooting workstations, printers, phones, user accounts, and ERP access.
· Learn company systems, including the Ecometry ERP, Business Manager, and shipping systems.
· Document the applications, processes, and automated tasks you work on.
· Other duties as assigned by the VP of I.T.
Qualifications:
0–2 years of development experience. Internships, coursework, and personal projects count. Working knowledge of C or another object-oriented language, plus HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
