Senior ServiceNow Developer
Position Summary
The ServiceNow Developer Senior will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for the design, development, and support of enterprise ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities. This role partners closely with product owners, service managers, and other technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with institutional priorities. The position requires deep platform expertise, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to mentor other developers while ensuring adherence to platform standards, governance, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
Years of Experience:
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise or large-scale environments. 3+ years building and supporting custom applications using App Engine Studio. 3+ years working within Agile or sprint-based delivery models.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). ITIL® 4 Foundation (or equivalent ITSM experience).
Preferred Skills:
Strong experience with server-side scripting, including Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scripted REST APIs. Advanced proficiency with GlideRecord, query optimization, and transactional logic. Experience with Flow Designer, including reusable actions, subflows, and orchestration patterns. Solid understanding of ACL design, role hierarchy, and access evaluation order. Experience designing and supporting Configurable Workspace and UI Builder-based experiences. Familiarity with Platform Analytics, including indicators, breakdowns, and dashboards.
