Meet the Team
Join Cisco Meraki’s engineering team building the next generation of cloud-managed IT. You’ll help evolve the Meraki Dashboard and AI Assistant, combining full-stack development with Generative AI and Agentic AI to create intuitive, intelligent experiences for customers managing millions of network devices worldwide.
Your Impact
Build and scale AI Assistant features using Generative AI and Agentic AI workflows. Develop full-stack tools that enable customers to configure and monitor network infrastructure. Partner with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver AI-powered solutions to real-world IT challenges. Own projects end-to-end, from concept and prototyping through production. Solve complex scalability, performance, and reliability challenges across a large Ruby on Rails application. Share technical expertise and influence engineering practices across teams.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of professional software engineering experience. 3+ years of experience with backend web technologies, preferably Ruby on Rails. 1+ years of experience building web UIs with React and Redux. Strong experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and query optimization. Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ownership of projects from conception through production. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Passion for solving open-ended problems and working effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building cloud-based applications and services. Experience developing Android applications. Knowledge of network protocols across local and wide-area networks. Interest or experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, or intelligent automation. Experience contributing to large-scale Ruby on Rails applications.
