Summary:
Working with a team of data scientists and ML engineers, this Lead Machine Learning (ML) Software Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge software for machine learning models and algorithms. The goal is to drive impactful insights and solutions across various healthcare domains, such as enhancing patient care, operational efficiency, and research endeavors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, machine learning infrastructure, and a deep understanding of healthcare data. They will be recognized as a subject matter expert in domain(s), independently lead projects, build relationships with clients and senior leaders and mentor junior members of the team.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy: Contribute strategic direction and technical leadership for machine learning software engineering, including the development and execution of innovative software standards and solutions for ML initiatives.
