Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide software engineering expertise to design, develop, test, integrate, and sustain software solutions for government information systems and associated applications. Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis and architectural design to deployment and post-deployment maintenance, utilizing modern software development methodologies, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevSecOps frameworks. Develop and release software modifications, including updates, patches, and new capabilities, while managing source code and documentation under a formal configuration management process. Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including design specifications, test plans, version release notes, and user manuals, to support system sustainment and knowledge transfer. Develop, plan, analyze, design products, and program computer software that requires extensive research. Utilize advanced knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering, along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.
