For one of our clients, we are looking for a Product Owner/Business Analyst responsible for maximizing product value delivered by a cross-functional development team building a next-generation HR/ERP platform.
Acting as the main link between finance SMEs and the delivery team, you will translate complex accounting and operational workflows into a clear product roadmap and prioritized backlog, ensuring solutions align with customer needs, business objectives, and quality standards within an Agile environment.
Requirements:
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 2 years in a PO role, or 3–5 years in a similar BA/PO position in a Scrum environment Proven experience delivering complex IT/software products in the accounting/finance domain Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and the full product development lifecycle Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams Ability to balance business priorities, technical constraints, and user needs Experience collaborating with multiple Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) — accountants, finance controllers, auditors
Skills
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience Experience in Payments (preparation, processing, validation and execution) Experience in Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences Proven ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders and drive decisions that unlock the next actionable piece of work Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to clearly define and communicate product requirements and decisions Experience in creating high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation Strong prioritization and decision-making skills — comfortable cutting scope and making calls under uncertainty Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of transparency
Tools & Practices
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Miro
