Java Engineer Role overview We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer with strong expertise in designing and developing scalable, high-quality software applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and ownership of complex engineering challenges. This role requires a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on software quality, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability, with the ability to deliver robust solutions that meet evolving business and customer needs. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services. • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations. • Participate in architecture and design discussions. • Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices. • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support root-cause analysis. • Write unit, integration, and automated tests. • Improve application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability. • Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams. • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers. • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous process improvement. Essential Skills and Experience • Strong experience in Java development. • Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot. • Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services. • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. • Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle. • Experience with JPA, Hibernate, or similar ORM frameworks. • Strong unit and integration testing experience using JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent tools. • Good understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies. • Experience w…
