Job Description
01.com is seeking a detail-oriented Application Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business requirements and improve user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a solid programming foundation, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable and maintainable software solutions.
In this role, you will contribute to application enhancements, system integrations, software testing, and ongoing maintenance while following established development standards and security practices.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain business applications and software components. Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and working software. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. Develop and maintain APIs, database connections, and application integrations. Troubleshoot software defects and resolve application performance issues. Perform unit testing and assist with integration and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project stakeholders to deliver application features. Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices. Maintain technical documentation and application specifications. Support application deployments, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. Identify opportunities to improve application performance, usability, and reliability. Follow appropriate security practices when handling application data.
Skills and Experience
Experience in application development, software engineering, or a related technical role. Proficiency in a programming language such as Java, C, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Familiarity with databases, SQL, APIs, and application integration. Understanding of software development life cycles, testing, and debugging. Experience with Git or another version control system.
