Position Summary --------------------
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer (TP2) to join the Payments To Go (P2Go) engineering team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise-scale payment solutions while contributing to modernization, resiliency, automation, and customer-facing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong Java development skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities ------------------------
Software Development
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components within the P2Go platform. Implement new features and enhancements based on product and customer requirements. Participate in technical design discussions and solution reviews. Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code following engineering best practices.
Defect Resolution & Production Support
Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues and production incidents. Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes. Participate in troubleshooting complex technical and functional issues. Support critical production releases and customer upgrades.
Agile Delivery
Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Contribute to estimation, dependency identification, and delivery planning. Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) criteria.
