About the Role:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, TypeScript, and
JavaScript
Build and scale automation frameworks to support feature validation and full product
regression
Define test strategies across the development lifecycle Test web applications, authenticated APIs, and write SQL queries for validation Use Visual Studio Code (VS Code) efficiently for test development, debugging, and
automation workflows
Mentor junior engineers on test design, tools, and best practices Leverage Windsurf AI tools for structured code and template generation
Skills Required :
3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Playwright Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and modern web technologies Proficiency with Git and source control workflows Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Experience using VS Code, including extensions for linting, formatting, and test management
Good to Have
Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates Familiarity with JIRA for test tracking and Agile boards Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) Experience with Windsurf code generation tools Background in working within Agile/Scrum development environment
