About the Role
Candescent is looking for a technically strong, hands-on Software Engineer to join the Assisted Banking Team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Java and Spring Boot, a good understanding of microservices, and a strong focus on coding, unit testing, debugging, and delivering high-quality software.
We are looking for a proactive individual who learns quickly, embraces technical challenges, takes ownership of assigned deliverables, and works effectively with team members to achieve business objectives. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, professional ethics, accountability, and the ability to deliver quality outcomes within committed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Write clean, readable, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards. Write and execute unit test cases using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality and reliability.
