Sigma Solve is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Essential Functions
Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Ability to automate cloud services using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Implement and manage Azure networking and security, including virtual networks, network security groups, and load balancers. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services to ensure 24/7 availability and performance. Compose, maintain and update standard operating procedures and training documentation. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the availability of critical systems outside of business hours. Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including virtual networks, network security groups, and load balancers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Additional Functions:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions that meet business requirements. Microsoft Azure Disaster Recovery planning and testing. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple projects. Research and propose recommendations for enhancing approaches for support services.
