About the Role: The Software Developer II is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and improving software solutions that help automate operational workflows and improve service delivery. This role works closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to build reliable backend services, APIs, and automation tools in a collaborative remote environment. The ideal candidate brings strong Python and SQL skills, sound software engineering practices, and the ability to manage work effectively across Azure DevOps, GitHub repositories, and Microsoft Teams.
What You'll Do:
Design, build, test, deploy, and support software applications, APIs, and automation tools that improve team efficiency and service quality. Develop backend services and integrations using Python and SQL in support of operational and business processes. Create and maintain REST APIs and service integrations with internal systems, databases, and third-party/vendor platforms. Write clean, maintainable, and secure code with attention to performance, reliability, logging, and error handling. Analyze business and technical requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and support successful implementation. Manage work items, user stories, and sprint-related activities in Azure DevOps (ADO), including story updates, task tracking, and status communication.
