About the Role
We're looking for a detail-driven QA Analyst to own manual testing across our web applications and APIs. You'll turn requirements into clear test cases, run structured test cycles, and give the team reliable reporting on release quality. You'll also bring a security mindset, checking for common vulnerabilities as part of everyday testing.
You'll work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners and developers from refinement to release, and help shape how we document and evidence our testing.
What You'll Do:
Review user stories, specifications and acceptance criteria early, and raise gaps, ambiguities and risks before development starts.
Take part in backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies alongside BAs, Product Owners and developers.
Write clear test plans, test scenarios and detailed test cases with expected results and test data.
Maintain a requirements traceability matrix so every requirement has test coverage.
Test execution and defect management
Run manual functional, regression, integration, end-to-end and exploratory testing across web, mobile and API layers.
Test APIs manually using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Log defects with clear steps to reproduce, expected and actual results, evidence and severity, and track them through to closure in Jira / Azure DevOps.
Retest fixes and maintain regression test packs for each release.
