Role Overview
We build and operate the platforms colleagues use to create, share, discover, govern, and consume trusted data across the organisation. Our services support analytics, automation, machine learning, and AI-enabled capabilities through secure, resilient, and reusable platform foundations.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Data Cloud , you will lead DevOps, platform automation, and operational reliability across our Data Platform services. You will work closely with Platform Engineers, Architects, Product Owners, Central Cloud Engineering, Cyber Security, and delivery teams to improve delivery, strengthen controls, and simplify platform operations.
This role succeeds when teams can release changes safely, recover quickly from issues, meet cloud engineering standards, and spend more time delivering value than managing infrastructure.

Build and Improve Platform Engineering
We are investing in modern engineering practices that make our platforms easier to build, operate, and support.
You will:
Define and promote DevOps, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineering practices across the Data Platform capability. Develop reusable automation, CI/CD pipelines, engineering templates, and self-service tooling that help teams move faster. Improve platform onboarding and delivery through Infrastructure as Code, automation, and standard patterns. Reduce operational complexity by replacing manual processes with repeatable engineering practices.
