Role Summary: NearSource is seeking a Software Development Ops Engineer - Cloud Applications with strong software engineering and DevOps experience to maintain, secure, and support cloud-based and desktop software applications. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure management, CI/CD pipeline maintenance, technical documentation, software troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of deployment and maintenance processes.
About the Project: The role supports software products that enable customers to visualize 3D models in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). These products include cloud and web components for model uploading, processing, browsing, and synchronization, along with multiplayer capabilities and Unity clients for VR experiences across multiple devices.
The selected candidate will collaborate with Infrastructure, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to maintain reliable software operations, improve system documentation, and strengthen DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cloud-based and desktop software products in collaboration with Infrastructure and Engineering teams, ensuring security, stability, and compliance with applicable Autodesk Platform policies. Support the Customer Success team by troubleshooting customer-reported issues and implementing software fixes, patches, and maintenance updates. Analyze the end-to-end architecture of supported products and reverse-engineer existing systems to create comprehensive technical documentation. Manage cloud infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in alignment with established DevOps best practices.
