As part of the Oracle Health and Analytics Cloud Performance Engineering (PSR) team, you will be a key technical leader focused on critical aspect of optimising Performance, Scalability, Availability, and Reliability for Oracle’s mission-critical Cloud Services.
Your role covers all software development lifecycle stages from a performance perspective: architectural and design reviews, benchmarking, sizing, and resolving production performance issues to maximise customer satisfaction and success.
You’ll champion service reliability and efficiency, manage system changes, monitor infrastructure, respond to incidents, and plan capacity across entire cloud service ecosystems.
You will own significant projects/services, establish your influence within the team, act as a subject matter expert, and contribute to operational tooling and process improvements.
As an IC4, you are expected to leverage your extensive experience, which includes a minimum of seven plus years in software engineering or a related field, a solid understanding of architectural concepts surrounding Cloud Computing and Enterprise Software Development, and proficiency in Java/J2EE, with additional experience in Python being advantageous.
