We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer Intern to support the design and development of educational books, workbooks, and learning materials.
Key Responsibilities
Design and format educational books, workbooks, activity books, and learning modules. Create visually appealing page layouts, illustrations, diagrams, and educational graphics. Arrange text, images, tables, and activities in a clear and student-friendly format. Collaborate with the academic and content development teams to convert educational content into engaging book designs. Ensure consistency in typography, colours, spacing, page numbering, and overall book layout. Prepare print-ready files and digital versions of books and learning materials. Review designs and make corrections based on feedback from the academic team. Assist in designing book covers, chapter openers, worksheets, and instructional materials. Ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the book before final submission. Support the design of posters, presentations, and other creative materials when required.
Required Skills
Knowledge of graphic design, page layout, typography, and visual communication. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Canva. Basic understanding of book formatting, page composition, and print-ready file preparation. Creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual design skills. Ability to follow design guidelines and meet project deadlines. Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the content development team.
