Responsibilities
As a software developer in automation technology, you will implement plant software using Beckhoff TwinCAT and/or CODESYS. Together with your team colleagues, you will develop and maintain software solutions that form the basis of our handling and process systems. In addition to the actual development work, your tasks include contributing to project planning, commissioning your solution (in-house or, in the case of special-purpose systems, on site at the customer’s premises), and maintaining existing solutions. Within a reasonable onboarding period, you will grow into a competent point of contact within the company and represent your solutions both internally and externally.
Qualifications
You have completed technical vocational training or a technical degree and can demonstrate at least 2 years of work experience in automation technology or plant control. You have experience programming in Structured Text (ST) under TwinCAT and/or CODESYS, and ideally some initial experience with object-oriented programming (OOP). You are characterized by a structured approach and knowledge of current development methods. In addition to good German skills, you also have English language skills. A structured way of working, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a team round off your profile.
Pay: $113,000.00 - $137,000.00 per year
