Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Core Java, Selenium, Playwright, and REST API testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and enhancing automation frameworks, implementing test automation strategies, and ensuring software quality across applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. Build and enhance web UI automation using Selenium and Playwright. Implement the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java. Perform REST API testing and automation. Develop reusable automation utilities and frameworks. Conduct root cause analysis and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development processes. Ensure automation scripts follow industry best practices and quality standards.
Required Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in Core Java and Java programming concepts. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG. Experience in Playwright and Cypress. Strong knowledge of REST API testing. Experience in developing automation frameworks. Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD). Good understanding of AWS services. Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms. Experience with SQL queries and database testing. Familiarity with Jira and ALM. Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
