Salesforce Consultant
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of Salesforce solutions for a large-scale federal healthcare modernization program.
The Salesforce Consultant will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, helping translate complex operational requirements into effective Salesforce solutions. This individual will work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and program stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document Salesforce requirements. Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and Salesforce solution recommendations. Configure and enhance Salesforce solutions using declarative platform capabilities. Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design discussions. Configure objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, and Salesforce Flow. Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business and operational decision-making. Collaborate with Salesforce Developers and Architects on solutions requiring custom development or complex integrations. Recommend Salesforce best practices and identify opportunities to improve business processes through platform automation. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, release readiness, and implementation activities. Assist with data migration, data validation, data quality, and reconciliation activities. Support user adoption through documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives. Support production troubleshooting and continuous platform improvement.
