As we continue to grow, we’re strengthening our internal foundations - and that’s where you come in. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join the Platform team. You’ll work across the stack on the Seqera Platform, the product scientists use to run Nextflow pipelines on cloud and HPC. The work covers API design, data modelling, cloud provider integrations and front end, mostly in Java, Groovy, Angular and Micronaut. The team is small (about 4 to 5 engineers plus a lead) and the scope is broad. You’ll own an area end to end, help shape architecture decisions, and work with Product and Infrastructure. Experienced engineers on the team are there for consultation. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and implement REST APIs and downstream services using Groovy, Java and the Micronaut framework ensuring their scalability, security, and performance. - Implement UI components and services in Angular interacting with the Seqera Platform API. - Write high-quality, clean, maintainable code using engineering best practices – unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc. - Analyze requirements, design and develop features based on the product requirements - Build E2E tests to verify the integration between backend implementation and clients - Optimize application for maximum performance and scalability. - Take design decisions within your scope and document the system so it is not dependent on any one person. - Design data models and APIs that stay consistent ac…
