Event Master Central is Citi’s centralized corporate action event repository and distribution platform that consolidates corporate action announcements and notifications from various vendors with cross-business operational process. As a critical pillar within the Master Reference Data (MRD) and the broader Citi Enterprise Data Organization (EDO), our team is responsible for modernizing and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate Action events across the enterprise.
Role Overview/What will you do:
Develop and implement complex software solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services. Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices adhering to architectural best practices. Apply hands-on expertise in Core Java, including multi-threading and the Collections framework. Utilize Spring Framework effectively for application development. Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and design patterns. Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Manage source code effectively using tools such as Git or Bitbucket. Promote and apply clean coding principles and maintain high quality using tools like Sonar. Design and implement comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure solution quality. Analyze and solve complex technical problems efficiently. Work with a team of application developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
