The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Citi, you will design, build, and evolve mission-critical application systems that support global technology and business operations. You will own full stack development across the software lifecycle, applying Core Java, Spring, ReactJS, and modern CI/CD practices to deliver secure, high-performing solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape system design, mentor junior engineers, and work directly with business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
Design and build full stack application solutions, guiding new and enhanced systems from feasibility studies through complete lifecycle delivery. Lead each phase of the development process, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation, while providing ongoing operational support to business users. Analyze complex technical and business problems to evaluate system performance against industry standards and recommend practical solutions. Develop and implement security measures based on post-implementation reviews to strengthen system design and functionality.
